Louis Longo

Louis Longo, 70, of Foster, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was the husband of Sandra L. Bibby.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Cosmo and Angela (Cardente) Longo.

Louis worked as a financial counselor for the New England Institute of Technology and Johnson and Wales University before retiring.  He played pool at Helen’s Place in Foster and softball for the former Towne Tavern in Centredale.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Jeremy Bibby (Ashley) of Greenville, Peter Bibby Jr. (Maria) of North Scituate, and Corey Bibby (Nichole) of Johnston, a brother, David Longo of Westminster, SC, and eight grandchildren.  He was the brother of the late James Longo.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence,  followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM.
