Lorraine Hartmann

Hartmann, Lorraine C. (Jean), 83, died January 4, 2012 at home. She was the beloved wife of George C. Hartmann for 62 years. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Louis G. and Blanche (Brunelle) Jean.

Lorraine graduated from the Sawyer Business School and attended Rhode Island College as an art student.

A loving mother and grandmother, Lorraine leaves three children, Gregory Hartmann of Daytona Beach, FL, Carol Hartmann-Rabbitt of Lincoln, and Jane Mangili of Attleboro and five grandchildren, Matthew, Jon, Christin, Jason, and Melissa. She was the sister of the late Yvette Ouellette.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Requiem Eucharist at 10 am in St. Alban's Church, 1964 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Sunday 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
