Loretta Didonato

DiDonato, Loretta "Lee" (Metivier), 80, died February 13, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George and Mae (Cronan) Metivier.

Loretta worked in the jewelry industry and for Bay Towers and the Scandinavian Home. She was an independent woman who took flying lessons and who loved to travel and shop. Loretta loved animals and had race horses.

She is survived by three sons, David DiDonato, Thomas DiDonato and his wife Jodi, Daniel DiDonato and his wife Robin, six grandchildren, Melissa Gallo, Amanda Carnevale, Steven DiDonato, Crystal Medeiros, Nicolette and Alicia DiDonato, seven great-grandchildren, Emma Linda Landreth, Maddison Medeiros, Tyler, Aydan, and Madison Gallo, Amber and Cadence Carnevale, two sisters, Eileen Dwyer and Virginia Tourtellot, nieces, Mary Fontaine, Margaret Carroll, Patricia Usenia, and Virginia "Ginger" Holton, and a nephew, Timothy Kiser.

Visitation will be held Friday 11 am-1 pm with a service to follow at 1 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private.
