Lois Sgambato

Sgambato, Lois H. (Bateman), 84, died Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late Stephen H. Sgambato, Jr. and daughter of the late Richard and Mabelle (Pinkham) Bateman.

Lois was a machine operator for A. T. Cross, retiring in 1993.

She leaves four children, Stephen H. Sgambato III, Walter E. Sgambato, Laurie J. Costa and Nancy H. Harris, a brother Lloyd Bateman, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Michael Sgambato and sister of the late Laura Clark, Edna Simmons, and Richard Bateman, Jr.

Lois’ funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
