Leonora Allaire

Leonora Allaire (Souza), 93, of Warwick, passed away on March 28, 2023 with her family by her side at West Shore Health Center, Warwick.  She was the wife of the late Louis E. Allaire.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Angelina (Borges) Souza.

Leonora worked in the jewelry industry, first for Speidel, then for Victoria Creations before retiring.  She loved bingo, music and having lunch at Rigatoni's with her daughters.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Dorsey and her companion, Timothy McLaughlin, and Linda Lenz and her companion, Robert Streeton; four grandchildren, Matthew Lenz and his wife Maria, Jeffrey Dorsey, Michael Lenz, and Mark Lenz; four great-grandchildren, Jameson, Alexander, Harper, and Angelina Lenz; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Manuel, Mary, Ann, Rosalie, and Joseph.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.  Calling hours Thursday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn. at heart.org
