Leonie Dicostanzo

DiCostanzo, Leonie L. (Slaimen) 87, died Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of Mario DiCostanzo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Slaimen and Elise (Laborie) Slaimen.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, John Mario DiCostanzo, two grandchildren, Julia Marie DiCostanzo and Leonardo Robert DiCostanzo, and a sister, Alice Rosati of Providence. She was the sister of the late Yvon L. Slaimen, Yvonne Asacker, Yvonnaic DiPippo, Barbara Ashcroft, Eva Carrara, Fernand Slaimen and Eleanor Slaimen.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Divine Liturgy at 10 AM in St. George Maronite Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Sunday 1-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904.
