Leo Riding

Riding, Leo Russell, 83, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family at the Scandinavian Retirement Center on December 26, 2010. He was the husband of the late May Pelland and Phyllis Bouchard. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Bertha and James Riding. Mr. Riding had worked for the VA Hospital for many years before retiring.

He leaves three sons, Gilbert, Anthony and Kevin Riding, a daughter, Deborah Tripp, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and stepchildren Linda and Bruce Bouchard.

Visitation will be held Thursday 9-10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Margaret's Church, Rumford. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Groden Network, "Your Autism Experts", 610 Manton Ave., Providence, RI 02705.
