Laura Correia

Correia, Laura (Paiva), 91, died November 16, 2010 at Hebert Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Orlando Correia. A lifetime resident of Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Olivia (Perreira) Paiva.

Laura was an assembler at A.T. Cross, also working for Mine Safety Appliances and the former Jack and Harry's in Centredale. She was a former member of the Esmond Village Assn. and the Greenville Goldenaires.

She leaves a son, Dennis O. Correia of Tuscon, AZ, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Louise Clark, Jeannette Gorman, Mary Correia, Manuel, Joseph, and John Paiva.

Visitation and funeral Thursday, November 18th from 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, prayers for Laura would be appreciated.
