Kiplagott Stewart, Jr.

Stewart, Kiplagott M. Jr., "Kip", 22, of Cranston, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of Kiplagott M. Stewart, Sr. and Carla I. Taylor.

Kip was a graduate from Met High School in Providence. During high school, he served an internship in physical therapy for the PC Players. He attended CCRI for Sports Medicine and was employed as a construction worker. Kip was a well-known, exceptional and amazing basketball player. He had played for the Neutaconkanut Boys Basketball Team and Mount Pleasant High School Team. Kip loved life, his friends and his family.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kilise Stewart, a brother, Joseph M. Taylor and many friends and family members.

Calling hours for Kip will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10:30AM to 12:15PM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a service at 12:15PM. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
