Kathleen Burdick

Kathleen Susan (Greska) Burdick, 80, of Johnston, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Irving Burdick.

Born on May 28, 1943, in Johnston, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl (Geatar) Greska and sister of her late twin brothers; Tom and Charles Greska.

Mrs. Burdick attended the former Sawyer Business School and worked for the Providence Journal as a receptionist for over forty years, retiring in 2001.

From 2003 to 2020 she worked for the Home Depot as a cashier for the garden center.  She enjoyed gardening, bingo, shopping and reading and was a member of the Graniteville Baptist Church.  She also loved a competitive game of scrabble with her dear friend Ellen Quinn, and also was a huge Red Sox fan.

She leaves her children; Amanda Mooney (Christopher) of Pascoag, Rhode Island, Bruce Bain of North Providence, Jesse Burdick of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two grandsons, Robert Bain and Zachary Bain. Mrs. Burdick also leaves her lifelong friends Virginia and Joan Nelson.

Funeral Services and Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted with the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME.
