Katherine Geary

Geary, Katherine A., (Kennedy). 89, died February 1, 2013 at the Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of the late Francis L. Geary. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Marion T. (Rogers) Kennedy.

Katherine was the office manager for the S. B. Winsor Dairy for 26 years. A communicant of St. Thomas Church, she taught CCD for over 30 years and was one of the first eucharistic ministers in the parish.

She leaves her son Timothy F. Geary of Johnston, a brother, Edward T. Kennedy of Lakeland, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was a sister of the late Helen U. McDermott and Marion J. Scanlon.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
