Joyce Naylor

Naylor, Joyce A. (Henlin) 76, of Smithfield, died Tuesday April 23rd, 2019 at the Greenville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was the wife of Willard J. Naylor, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alva and Clara (Hansen) Henlin.

Joyce worked at Roger Williams Hospital, Home Care Division as a registered nurse for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and was a long-time member of Ocean State Baptist Church. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, David M. Naylor, Catherine L. Jackson and Sandra E. Octeau, six grandchildren, David, Joshua, Amanda, Elizabeth, Emily and Lindsay, a great grandchild, Aiden, and her siblings, Donna Baker, Deborah Henlin, and Dennis Henlin. She was the sister of the late Clair L. Williams and Janice R. Henlin.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours will be Friday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914.
