Joseph Troia

Di Troia, Joseph M., 70, of Johnston, passed away peacefully Friday May 2, 2014 at Cherry Hill Manor surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Finucane) Di Troia. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph P.V. and Rose (Palazzo) Di Troia.

Joseph was a retired truck driver of the Teamsters Local 251. A U. S. Navy Vietnam veteran, he served on the U.S.S Boxer.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Jodi Di Troia-Eddy and her wife Sarah, Jason Di Troia and his wife Cindy Saucier-Di Troia, two grandchildren, Andrew Cervini and Brett Di Troia, a sister, Gloria Capobianco, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9-10AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a service to follow at 10AM. Burial with military honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
