Joseph Simonelli

Simonelli, Joseph, 84, formerly of North Providence, died July 30, 2017. He was the husband of the late Josephine M. (Colangelo) Simonelli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alexander and Marion Simonelli.

Joseph worked for General Electric for many years before retiring. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his son, Michael Simonelli, his sister-in-law, Anna Colangelo, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Helen Simonelli and Louise Papa.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 9:15-10:15 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
