Joseph Jardin

Jardin, Joseph G. Jr., 78, of McGuire Rd., died July 30, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph G. Jardin Sr. and Irene (Redelsperger) Jardin.

Joseph worked for Yellow Freight and was an auxiliary police officer for the town of North Providence. He was a member of the LaSalette Shrine, North Attleboro and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He leaves three daughters, Debra C. Polion and her husband Joe of Coventry, Linda Gilmore of Cranston, Gloria Bishop of Inverness, FL, a brother, Richard Jardin of Florida, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 am in Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery.
