Joseph D'Andrea

D'Andrea, Joseph D., 85, died February 24, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Louise (LaBelle) D'Andrea for 65 years. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Polseno) D'Andrea.

Joseph was a lifetime farmer and apple grower and was the owner-proprietor of Appleland Orchards in Greenville since 1976. He loved his family and his work, and served with the US Army during WWII.

Besides his beloved wife, he leaves a son, Joseph L. D'Andrea and his wife Mary Lou of Greenville, a daughter, Lois L. Ruberto of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and a grandson, Eric Ruberto.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial, with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-8pm.
