Joseph Dandeneau

Dandeneau, Joseph W., 82, of North Providence, died June 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Anna E. (Connors) Dandeneau. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Eugene and Marie (Arpin) Dandeneau.

Joseph was a milkman for Christiansen Dairy for 35 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

He leaves two daughters, Joanne Burley of Johnston and Jean Coppola of Smithfield, two sons, Robert Dandeneau of Tampa, FL and Joseph Dandeneau of North Providence, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a sister, Helen Fowler of Johnston. He was brother of the late Peter, Louis, and Ovila Dandeneau, Rose DeRita, Irene Almonte, and Doris Corrente.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.
