John Gargano

Gargano, John J., 86, of North Providence, died on November 21, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Doris E. (Gervais) Gargano.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Josephine (Marandola) Gargano.

John worked for the Rhode Island Department of Corrections before retiring.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosanne Gargano, his son, Michael Gargano and his husband David Azulay, his daughter-in-law, Donna Gargano, and his granddaughter, Katelyn Gargano.  He was the father of the late John M. Gargano and brother of the late Daniel and Peter Gargano.

His Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Ave., Providence.
