John Decotis

DeCotis, John (Giovanni), 92, of Sebastian, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was a long time resident of Smithfield, RI and moved to Florida 15 years ago. He was born April 10, 1922 in Johnston, RI the oldest son of Francisco DeCotis and Maria DiMichele. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Anna, his son John, and daughters Ann Babij, Carol Lambert and Linda Boisselle. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. John was best known as "Johnny the Milkman" and the owner of Smithfield Dairy.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Robbins Funeral Home in Centredale, RI with a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Catholic Church in Georgiaville, RI. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Greenwich, RI.
