John Cifelli, Jr.

Cifelli, John B. Jr., 89, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Morgan Health Center. He was the husband of the late Winifred C. (McDonald) Cifelli. Born in North Providence, he was a son of the late John B. Sr. and Clara (Janello) Cifelli.

John was a supervisor at the Crown Mark Co. of Lincoln for 37 years retiring in 1992. He was a Coast Guard veteran of WWII, and a member of American Legion Post 60.

He leaves four children, Donna M. Melfi, Laurie A. Ellinwood and her husband Robert, Thomas A. Cifelli Sr. and his wife Karen, and John B. Cifelli III, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Joseph Cifelli and Florence Boudreau and the late Virginia Sabetta and Herbert Cifelli.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Sunday 4-7 PM.
