John Blowey, Jr.

John (Jack) F. Blowey, Jr., 61, of Winter Garden, FL, died on July 3, 2023 at Advent Health, Winter Garden.

Born in Middletown, CT, he was the son of the late John Francis and Ann Meurice (Saute) Blowey from North Providence, RI.

John was a graduate of Coventry (CT) High School and Eastern Connecticut State University.  Following college, John had served in the United States Coast Guard.  While in the Coast Guard, John served on both the USCGC Vigilant and CGC Reliance. After his time in the service, John later moved to Florida and worked at Walt Disney World as an attractions host in EPCOT, where he enjoyed interacting with visitors from around the world.  John loved to water ski on Waterman Lake in Harmony, RI.  He also loved to Square and Round Dance and spent many years following this passion.

He is survived by his loving sister, Ann Bedard and her husband, James, with whom he lived.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to your local disabled veteran association. Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter will be private.
