Jeanette Gorman

Gorman, Jeanette (Paiva), 93, of Esmond Village, Smithfield, died April 6, 2010 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Gorman, Sr. Born in North Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Olivia (Perreira) Paiva.

Mrs. Gorman had worked at the A. T. Cross Company in Lincoln for 14 years, retiring in 1983.

She leaves four grandchildren, Charles E. Gorman III of Ellensburg, WA, Robert K. Gorman of Smithfield, David M. Gorman of Cumberland, Jon Gorman of Sturbridge, MA, a sister Laura Correia of Smithfield, 3 great- granddaughters, a great-great grandson, and a former daughter-in-law Linda McCurdy of Cumberland. She was the mother of the late Charles E. Gorman, Jr., and grandmother of the late Albert Alan Gorman. She was pre-deceased by two sisters and three brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11 AM in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
