Champigny-Brayton, Jeanette M., 70, of Mendon Rd, died February 5, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of Gordon Brayton and the late Edmond Champigny. Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Charles and Albertine (Bouthillette) Turner. She had been a resident of Cumberland since 2005, formerly of Smithfield.

Jeanette was a machinist for the former Industrial Machine Co. in Esmond for 16 years, retiring in 1987.

Beside her husband she leaves four children, Brenda Leite of Pawtucket, Teddy Champigny of Cumberland, Tommy and Randy Champigny of Esmond, two stepchildren, Gordon Brayton of Foster and Kathryn McCollough of Killingly, CT. and ten grandchildren. She was a sister of Charles and Robert Turner of Lincoln, Ethel Conway of Cumberland, Ann Brackenwagon of Narragansett, Linda Moore of Florida and the late Alan, Gary, and Claudia Turner.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence Sunday 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
