Jean Tierney

Tierney, Jean Lorraine, passed away on December 24, 2020.  She was the wife of George Tierney.  She was the longtime companion of Austin Livesey.  Beloved mother of Nancy Tierney (William Giannini), Kathleen (Daniel) Torregrossa, and Laura (Larry) MacFawn.  Grandmother of Daniel, William, and Jessica, and great-grandmother of four, with the fifth due in February.

Jean loved her cats, Bonnie and Clyde.  She was an animal lover.  She never met an animal she did not like.  She volunteered at an animal shelter, devoting her time to give love and affection.

Jean also sewed and crocheted, donating the items to various causes.  She enjoyed writing letters to the editor and getting published.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of South Wing at Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and kindness in her final years.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter of your choice.
