Jean A. Gesualdi, 86, of Johnston died peacefully at Greenville Rehabilitation Center on August 31, 2022. Born in Providence on July 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Olga (LaBanca) Gesualdi. She was the sister of Albert Gesualdi, Sr. Ms. Gesualdi was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph Gesualdi and Vito Gesualdi and sister Ann (Gesualdi) Cain. She was sister-in-law to the late Thelma (Carr) Gesualdi, Phyllis (Zienowicz) Gesualdi, Audrey (Conrad) Gesualdi and William Cain. “Auntie Jean” was adored and loved by her many godchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Ms. Gesualdi was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston. She had an early career as owner/operator of Jean Ann’s Beauty Salon. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching game shows and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5 – 7 p.m. in ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., No. Providence. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston, followed by burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org/donate.
