Janet Murray

Murray, Janet A. (DeAngelis) 68, of North Providence, died peacefully at home on October 16, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of James A. Murray, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Carmina (Cambio) DeAngelis.

Janet was a Teacher at La Salle Academy and a librarian at the Birchwood Middle School in North Providence.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, James A. Murray III and his wife Lorien of Narragansett and Stephen J. Murray and his wife Kerri of Lincoln, a brother, Joseph DeAngelis and his wife Deborah of Sterling, CT. Loving grandmother of Sean, Alanna, Ian, Alexandra and Keira Murray.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Friday 5-8 PM.
