James Goff, Jr.

Goff, James E., Jr., 68, died Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James and Ellen (Hughes) Goff.

James worked at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in the shipping and receiving department and Foxwoods Casino. He was an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. James is a New York Giants, Red Sox and Boston Celtics fan.

He is survived by his siblings, Ellen Burns and her husband Ray, Kathleen Achille and her husband James, Margaret Owens and her husband Bob, Richard and Robert Goff, Barbara Callison (Ed), Elaine Stein and her husband Bob and Mary Hunt Lee and her husband Richard, ten nieces and nephews and two great nephews. He was the brother of the late John M. Goff.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM.
