Bianchi, James A., 61, of Victoria St., died April 9, 2009 at home. He was the husband of Mary F. (Joyce) Bianchi. Born in Fairplay, MO, he was a son of the late Augustus and Ethel (Little) Bianchi.
James worked for Martin and Sons Auto Parts in Westerly. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Cranston Fish and Game since 1974. He was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church, North Providence.
Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Barbara A. Cotoia of Smithfield and James A. Bianchi of Johnston, four stepchildren, Annette Lange of Warwick, William Lange of Central Falls, Joyce Wyatt of Las Vegas, NV, and Jackie Snell of Glocester, a brother, Rick Bianchi of Athens, GA, 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Philip Bianchi.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Monday 5-8 pm. Please omit flowers.
