James Barnett

Barnett, James S., 85, of Johnston, died June 1, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Florence E. (Carter) Barnett.

James was a machinist for the former BIF in Providence for 25 years before retiring. He was a member and past master of the Hamilton Lodge, F & AM, and was a US Merchant Marine veteran of WWII.

Besides his wife he leaves two children, Carol Romano of Johnston, and James S. Barnett and his wife Janice, also of Johnston, three grandchildren, Christopher Romano, James and Jenna Barnett, and a great grandson, James Barnett.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a graveside service with military honors in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
