Irene M. Salvatore

Irene M. Salvatore, 89, of Smithfield, passed peacefully on November 21, 2024 at Stillwater Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the wife of the late Raymond Salvatore. Born in Derry, NH, she was the daughter of the late Bror and Acenith (Burbank) Oberg.

Irene worked as a jewelry designer, making beautiful pieces of art, which she continued to wear over the last 60 years. She enjoyed writing poetry, cooking, and reading. She was known to be a political enthusiast, especially over the last ten years. Irene will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her love for her family.

She is survived by two sons, Alan Bianchini (Kathleen) and Raymond Salvatore (Kayleigh), her daughter-in-law, Jenell Bianchini, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Adam Bianchini.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 9-11 am.
