Irene Kocon

Kocon, Irene E. (Davis), 85, of Village Drive, passed away peacefully and quietly on Sunday May 8, 2011. She was the wife of the late Walter Kocon. Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Winnie and Lumina (Plante) Davis.

Irene was a mender for Worcester Textile Co. for twenty-five years before retiring in 1988.

She is survived by her children, Mark Kocon and his wife Cheryl, Karen Richards and her husband David, five grandsons, and a loving sister, Rose Davis. She was beloved by 6 sisters-in-laws and 6 brothers-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Earl Davis and Lillian MacMillan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday May 28, 2011 at 9AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. For online condolence visit www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
