Irene Forgue

Irene I. Forgue, 91, of North Kingstown, died Friday, June 26, 2020, one day shy of her 92nd birthday. at Robert's Health Center in North Kingstown.  She was the former wife of the late Walter H. Forgue.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Eva (Berry) Chew.  She was a resident of North Providence and Smithfield before moving to North Kingstown.  Irene was a bookkeeper in the main office of the former Benny's Home and Auto Stores for 40 years before retiring.

She is survived by her son David W. Forgue, Sr. of North Kingstown and her granddaughter Caitlyn Cabral.  She was the mother of the late Kathleen Cabral, grandmother of the late David W. Forgue, Jr., the late Daniel J. Forgue, and the late Sarah Cabral, and sister of the late Olive Sutcliffe.

Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 12 Noon in the Garden of Meditation section of Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
