Holly Rhodes

Rhodes, Holly H., 53, of Johnston, died unexpectedly at her home Saturday May 7, 2016. Born in Providence RI, Holly was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Rhodes. Holly is survived by her loving husband Dean Davis, her beloved daughter Taylor Mims and her cherished granddaughter Neveah Smith.
She was the sister of Thomas Rhodes and Valyrie Rhodes.
Holly graduated from Johnston High School and completed her vocational training at Katherine Gibbs.
During her career, she worked as a valued legal assistant for many law firms throughout the state as well as executive legal secretary for the State Properties Committee of the State of Rhode Island.
Calling hours will be held at Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence RI on Saturday May 14, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a eulogy service from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Holly, like her mother, loved gardening. She also loved engaging in home restoration projects, watching movies and reading books of every kind. Most of all Holly loved her family and her friends. Her greatest wish in life was to make them happy. The "male" love of her life before she met her wonderful husband was MAX her German Shepard, who always held a very special place in her heart.
She had a magical smile that always made the world around her seem a little brighter. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
