Hilda Carcone

Carcone, Hilda E. (Fischesser), 91, died September 1, 2011 at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Eugene Carcone. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Robert Fischesser and the late Julia (Munsch) Palmieri.

Hilda worked in the jewelry industry until retiring. She was a volunteer, knitting hats for infants at Women and Infants Hospital.

She leaves a son, Michele Bissanti of North Providence, a daughter, Nancy Glanz of Greenville, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Louis Bissanti and Lois Richard and sister of the late Jeannette Renaud.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church.
