Henry Payette

Payette, Henry A., Sr., 91 formerly of North Providence, died October 19, 2013 at the Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Pauline A. (Berthiaume) Payette and the late Evelyn (Garvey) Payette. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Armelle (Gascon) Payette.

Mr. Payette was a plumber working out of Local 28 and Local 51for 55 years before retiring. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Henry leaves his son, Henry A. Payette, Jr. and his wife Lucille of Woonsocket, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He also leaves his step-children, Suzanne Tellier-Arruda, Roland, Arthur, and Robert Tellier. He was father of the late Edward and Renee Payette, and was brother of the late Gaston Payette, Lucille Howard, Anita Perreault, Pauline Rondina, and Cecile Reagan.

His funeral service, with military honors, will be held Tuesday at 1pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Visiting hours are Tuesday 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will be private.
