Henry Marcello

Marcello, Henry, 92, of Douglas Ave, died August 23, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Enrico and Caroline (Cafaro) Marcello.

Mr. Marcello was the manager of Marcello's IGA in Providence until 1975. He was also a counselor for the United Commercial Travelers. An Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, he was member of DAV Chapter 21. He enjoyed dancing.

Henry leaves his wife Carmella and her family, a daughter Carolyn J. McCoy and her husband Brian of Shelton, CT, a son James H. Marcello and his wife Mary Anne of North Kingstown, and three grandchildren Alli, Jen, and Erin. He was the brother of the late Laura Anderson, Angelina, Anthony, and Mary Marcello.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 26th at 10:30 AM in the Mausoleum Chapel at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
