Harold Salvati

Salvati, Harold, 84, formerly of North Providence died July 24, 2010 at the RI Veterans Home. Born in North Providence, he was a son of the late Gaetano and Anne (Borello) Salvati.

Mr. Salvati was a truck driver for D & B Trucking before retiring. A combat veteran of WWII, he served with the US army in the southern Phillippines.

Harold leaves a brother, William Salvati of Smithfield and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Salvati, Virginia Morin, and Madeline Caccia.

His funeral and visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a committal service with military honors in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
