Grace Eaton

Eaton, Grace A. (Healis), 91, of North Providence, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at the home her daughter, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Scott D. Eaton. A lifelong resident of North Providence, Grace was a daughter of the late Herbert B. and Castelene (Holden) Healis.

Grace worked as a floor supervisor for Lees Manufacturing for 25 years before retiring in 1989 to take care of her grandchildren. She was an active member of the former St. Alban's Church, Centredale.

Grace was the mother of the late Claudia Eaton. She was the loving mother of Michelle and her husband Louis L. Jackson of North Providence and Yvonne and her husband Anthony Riley of Providence and loving grandmother of Stephanie Jackson, Shelby Norman, Vanessa Jackson, Jillian Riley, and Christopher Magnett. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Williams of North Providence. She was sister of the late Ulysses, Harold, Walter, Herbert, Bessie, and Eleanor Healis, Edna Sykes, and Mabel Gordon.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Requiem Eucharist at 10 am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Calling hours Monday 5-8 pm.
