Sparadeo, Gordon A., 89, died November 26, 2017 at Hopkins Manor. He was the husband of Marjorie (Rennard) Sparadeo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Donato and Anna (Vernava) Sparadeo.
Gordon worked as a meat cutter at the former A&P Supermarket in Johnston for 23 years. He was a life member of the Centredale Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as Captain. He served in the Navy during WWII.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Gordon, Paul and Steven, daughter, Debra, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Daniel and Kathy Sparadeo and brother of the late Walter, Alfred, Robert, Raymond, and Francis Sparadeo, Leona Cardillo, Elena Desautel, and Joan Jackson.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 9:45AM at the Administration Building in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery for a 10AM service on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 in the Columbarium, followed by military honors. www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
