Gloria Procaccianti

Procaccianti, Gloria "Birdie" (Gauthier), 87, of Chalkstone Ave., passed away November 14, 2009 at Miriam Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She had worked at the Holiday Inn in Providence before retiring in 1982.

Born in Harrisville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Gauthier and wife of the late Julio "Andy" Procaccianti. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn, her companion, Charles O'Donnell, her sons, Gene "Gino" and his wife, Sarah, and Raymond, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Dennis and Ronald.

Calling hours Wednesday 4-7 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. A Mass will be held at a later date.
