Gloria Folco

Folco, Gloria V. (Pimental), 89, of Gary St, died November 12, 2010 in the Greenville Health Center. She was the wife of the late Rocco Folco, Sr. A lifetime resident of Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Repoza) Pimental.

Gloria had worked for Mine Safety Appliances, formerly of Esmond, retiring in 1986. She loved her family and is remembered for preparing her special Sunday and holiday dinners.

She leaves her children, Carolann Bessette, Rocco Folco, Jr. and his wife Erica, Cathy Dube and her husband Ronald, all of Smithfield, and Cinthia Zarr of North Providence, her grandchildren, Nicole Underwood, Lori Dube, Frank Dube and his wife Stacey, Jimmy and Joe Rydberg, Julie Zanchi and her husband Todd, and Tony Viveiros, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was sister of the late Mary Carillo, Christine Enos, Lena Folco, Frances Dufresne, and William Pimental.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 PM.
