Giuseppe Illiano

Illiano, Giuseppe, 78, of North Providence, died September 9, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the husband of Eugenia (DiStefano) Illiano for 52 years. Born in Naples, Italy, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Maria (Salemme) Illiano.

Giuseppe was the owner of the Two Guys From Italy restaurants, located in Warwick and formerly located in East Greenwich and Cranston, for over 50 years until retiring. He loved his family and gardening.

Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Gina Illiano Giannakas and her husband Steve of Greenville, and his son Michael David Illiano of North Providence. He was brother of the late Michele, Cipriano, and Liberino Illiano and Frank Elliano.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9AM from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours will be Monday 5-8 PM.
