Germaine Lopez

Lopez, Germaine "Jean" (Belhumeur), 88, died peacefully April 30, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Lopez. Born in Providence, she was one of ten children of the late Henry and Valeda (Bilodeau) Belhumeur.

She leaves behind her daughter, Jean Lynch, with whom she resided, two granddaughters, Renee Rinaldi-Patterson and Gina Silvestro, all of Johnston, four great-grandchildren, Miranda, Nicholas, and Madison Silvestro, and Joseph Patterson, and three siblings, Sr. Gilberta Belhumeur, Sr. Annette Belhumeur and Paul Belhumeur. She was pre-deceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Her visitation will be held Wednesday from 8 to 9 AM in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
