Gerard R. Pellerin, 76, formerly of North Providence, died January 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Martin) Pellerin.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Stanley and Eva (Desilets-Trottier) Pellerin.
Gerard was a truck driver for C-Line Transportation and a mechanic for the former National Food Service. He was a US Army Veteran.
He leaves a daughter Elizabeth A. Stanton and her husband Kevin of Charlestown, a son, Gerard A. Pellerin of Providence, and a sister, Gertrude A. Resendes of Smithfield. He also leaves his beloved pets,Benji, Isabella,Brownie, and Dakota. He was the father of the late Darlene Pellerin, and brother of the late Louis "Oscar" Pellerin, Therese F. Maione, and Constance Pellerin.
His funeral and visitation will be held Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St, North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
