Morin, Gerald F., Jr., 68, of Johnston, died July 31, 2013 at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Annette J. (Parrillo) Morin. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Gerald F. Morin Sr., and Adeline E. (Mimande) Morin-Parrillo.
Mr. Morin was a machinist for the former Nellis Jamesbury Co. and for General Dynamics. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Centredale Fire Department, was a member of Big Brothers, the Smithfield Sportsman's Club, and was a member of the 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife, Gerald leaves a brother, Paul R. Morin of Pascoag and a sister, Edna L. O'Rourke of Narragansett.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Friday 5-8 pm.
