George Bailey

Bailey, George Edgar, late of Johnston and Dunedin, FL, died September 23, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Cotrone) Bailey. He was born in Fries, VA, a son of the late George Jefferson and Elizabeth (Williams) Bailey, on May 18, 1926.

He is survived by his children: Francine (Vincent) Di Fruscio of Riverside, Frank (Celeste) Cotrone of Johnston, and George Bailey, Jr. of Florida. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Linda Cotrone of North Providence. He leaves his grandchildren, Vincent (Heidi) Di Fruscio, Lisa and Frank (Marisa) Cotrone, and Jennifer Paschoal; great-granddaughters, Amanda, Rebecca, Emily Di Fruscio, Ashtyn Paschoal, Sophia Marie and Olivia Rose Cotrone, and great-great granddaughter, Ella Alyse Davis. He is also surived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three sisters and one brother.

His funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Thursday 8:30-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
