Rubiano, Fred J., 63, of North Providence, peacefully passed away on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Fredrick and Bessie (Lombardo) Rubiano.

Fred was a lifelong resident of North Providence and graduated from North Providence High School in 1972. He was employed by the Coca Cola Bottling Company for thirty eight years until retiring in 2015. Fred enjoyed volunteering and supporting the youth of North Providence. He was a longtime baseball coach for the North Providence West Little League and coached CYO Basketball at the former St. Lawrence Church. Fred was a sports fanatic and enjoyed attending the Providence Bruins games as well as watching the Boston Bruins, Miami Dolphins and World Wrestling Federation. He was an avid Red Sox Fan and a devoted Yankee hater.

He is survived by two children, Joseph Rubiano and his wife Lisa of Cumberland, RI and Kristen Ann Lisi and her husband Anthony of Foster, RI. Fred is also survived by six wonderful grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and two sisters, Cynthia King and Jeanie Vickers.

His funeral will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 8am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 2nd, from 6pm - 8pm.
