DiBenedetto, Frank, 86, of Pasco Dr, died November 1, 2010 at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Eva M. (Trotter) DiBenedetto. A lifetime resident of Johnston, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Luigia (DiMichele) DiBenedetto.
Frank was a cabinet maker and the owner of Universal Pattern and Woodworking Co. for 50 years, retiring in 1997. He was also an inventor. He was a Navy Seabee Veteran of WWII and a member of the DAV. He was a charter member of the Highland Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Smithfield Sportsman's Club, and the Smithfield BPOE # 2359.
He was the father of Debra DiBenedetto-Page and the late Frank S. DiBenedetto, step-father of Michelyn Shriver and Lillian Accardi, grandfather of Erica DiBenedetto, Joshua and Jared Furtado, Steven and Maia DiBenedetto, great grandfather of Andrew DiBenedetto, and brother of Evelyn Viscolosi and the late Lawrence DiBenedetto, Palma Fetta, Michael DiBenedetto, Frances Buonaccorsi, and Harry DiBenedetto.
Frank's funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Entombment, with military honors, will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8 PM.
