Frank Aurecchia, Jr.

Aurecchia, Frank "Smitty" Jr., 80, of North Providence, formerly of Johnston, died Thursday January 29, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Eileen (McNamara) Aurecchia. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Columbia (DeFrancisco) Aurecchia. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Michael Aurecchia and his wife Lauren, Sandra Mesolella and her husband Nicholas, Kelley Aurecchia and her fiancé Justin Gardner, and three grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriella and Dina.

His funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
