Florence Jackson

Jackson, Florence E. (Greenwood) 88, of Central Pike, died Monday March 12, 2012 at Miriam Hospital. Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Emily (Haigh) Greenwood.

Florence was a manager for the former New England Telephone Company before retiring, and was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Souza of Scituate, and Lisa Jackson of Johnston, a granddaughter Jennifer MacDonald and her husband Robert of Providence, and great-grandchildren Marlaina and Jack MacDonald. She was the sister of the late Marion Campbell and Annis Aust.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 10-11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence followed by a service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
